What a beautiful Sunday we just had! The weather was perfect and we just
HAD to get out and enjoy it. What better way than to head to our local Stone Mountain for a day of fun, fresh air and exercise. We made a day of enjoying the nice weather, having some lunch and then hiking up Stone Mountain. Mom and Dad even took the extra long way up the mountain, which got quite challenging at times, especially with Dad carrying me and Mom carrying a back pack full of my supplies. We made it though and felt an overwhelming sense of accomplishment once we made it to the top. What a view and what a gorgeous day! We have decided to take more advantage of this park which is literally less than 5 miles away and try to spend more of our sunny days enjoying it from here on out!
Yep- as ready as I'll be to head back down this big ole' mountain!
