Farmer John Ashton

Ready to go "bye-bye" with Mommy to go shopping...

The Children's Museum

Mom, Dad and I met up with the Baig family a recent Saturday afternoon to check out the Children's Museum in downtown Atlanta. Mom had heard a great deal about it and thought it would be something I would enjoy. It was a great deal of fun for me since there was so much to see and do and I could run free, but Mom and Dad were not as impressed as they thought they would be. Luqman and I had fun, but we are both doubtful that we will go again. None the less, I had fun and hopefully Luqman and I can have another play date soon where we can be one on one without all the distractions.

Luqman and I beating on the drums to a Video playing where there are people in the background that are not really there.

If you look closely- you can see us at the bottom of the TV with our "non-existant" friends behind us. We were both a little bewildered by this... as you can tell by the expressions on our faces...

I'm about to deliver a package on a camel!

Dad and I "milking" a "cow".

My turn on the John Deere!

This place made the mistake of putting the ball exhibit up front by the entrance...come on people- you know us toddlers love balls! How do you expect us to see the rest of the place if this is all we need?!?

Allison's Baby Shower

My Grandmommie Hopper's good friend Connie's daughter Allison had a baby shower in March that we attended. Allison is having a baby girl who she is naming Evy. The shower was thrown by Allison's sister Jennifer who lives in Cumming, GA. There was lots of yummy food and the Bryant's have a very nice house.
Everyone wanted to see me, so I tagged along and had lots of fun with Mrs. Jennifer's kids- Wes and Emma. I played some keyboard with Wes and played with stickers with Emma. I also had fun walking around and meeting everyone. Mom and Grandmommie had a good time and we look forward to meeting baby Evy who will be here any time now- Due this month!

Purse thief on the loose...

Ladies, beware! He's cute, yet small...quick and nimble...when you least expect it, he'll creep up in the middle of the day...he's the Purse Snooper who loves to see what you've got in there! But be careful- he will take what's yours and you will get to work and pull out a bright yellow ball he has put in it's place!

Fun at the park

What a gorgeous day we had in Lilburn last Sunday! It was up in the mid-60's and we all had to come out and play! Mom and Dad took me to our local Mountain Park Park (yes- it has 2 parks in the name) and I had all kinds of fun! I went down the slide, swung in a swing (one of my favs), played in the sand box, ran free, and chased every round ball that was around me! Dad brought my little football, but I was only interested in all the other ROUND balls that were around. Balls are one of my favs these days. We had lots of family fun and look forward to Spring when we can take me more often!

Snow in the ATL

Better late than never...It snowed in Atlanta around mid- January. Much to our surprise, it snowed about 5 inches and stuck around for about a week. We don't get snow like this very often if ever and the whole town shut down due to being ill-prepared for such weather. Though beautiful, it was some what dangerous due to the below freezing temps and ice covering the snow and the roads. Since the city and surrounding areas did not have enough man power or equipment to control the roads, the only thing we could do was wait until the temperature got above freezing and the ice could melt. Mom was called back to work on Wednesday, and the city got back into gear by Friday. Dad was conveniently off work during this time, so the three of us got to enjoy some family time in the snow. I was excited to play, but when I kept getting my little short legs stuck in-between the ice and snow, I was about over it. Dad got a cardboard box and he and Mom slid down the front lawn a few times. It was fun to get snowed in, but we are glad it is now over. Cabin-fever creeps up really fast!

Christmas Day 2010

What an awesome Christmas we had! Mom and Dad let me sleep in as they got up and opened a few presents to each other and awaited me to get up to find my goodies that Santa had brought. I got a ton of loot from Santa, my Grandma and Grandpa DiFatta, My Aunt Jen and Great-Grandparent Parkers. After we opened all of these gifts, my Hopper Grandparents arrived at our house for brunch that Mom cooked us, MORE presents, lots of playing and later dinner that my Hopper Grandparents cooked for us. We had a really nice relaxing day enjoying one another and our presents. I sorta knew what was going on this year, but I think next year will be an extra special treat when I REALLY can get into the Holiday spirit. Most of all, we must all always remember the true reason for the season- and that is the birth of our dear Lord and Savior- Jesus Christ!

A turtle jumper! What I've always wanted!!! How did Santa know?

Nothing says Christmas like a little "Jingle Bells" on the ole bear flute

Grandmommie Hopper and myself in disbelief of all our goodies!

Daddy got a new pair of Handcuffs for Christmas and already got himself in a pickle when Romeo tried to eat the key...
